SMI CEO Emerges as Best Graduate in Journalism and Media Communications Master's Program at UK University

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Safer-Media Initiative, Peter Iorter, has received the prestigious University Prize for Best Graduating Student in the Journalism and Media Communications master's program at the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.

Announcing the award, Stephen Partridge, Dean of the School of Creative Arts and Humanities, said:

“I was really impressed by your consistently high achievement across the course of your degree. It's a fabulous testament to your hard work and commitment.”

The University Prize is awarded to the student with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the program.

Iorter, alongside students from Europe, Asia, and Africa—including over a dozen Nigerians—completed the program in September 2024. The graduation ceremony took place on February 25, 2025, beginning at the University’s College Lane Campus and culminating at the historic St. Albans Cathedral in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
